長期間手付かずであった押入れの中には、亡くなった祖母が習っていた茶道の道具が多くしまわれていた。多くは"The 茶道"と言った茶碗、茶入などだったが、箱の一つを開けるとそのイメージとは少し違ったポットが出てきた。それが、ビビッドな黄色が目を惹くこの平安白鳳。祖母が使っているところは見たことがなかったように思う。実際のところ使用感もあまりない。
サイズ感はコンパクトで場所も取らない。今なら一人暮らし用のポットとという需要にもなりそうだ。もしくは、シンプルなお花を生ける花瓶という使い方もありかもしれない。お部屋に追加のカラーを探していた方がいたらぜひ。
There are a lot of items for Sado, the ceremonial tea, which my grandmother would learn inside of the storage that had been closed for a long time in my grandparents house. Many of the items looked very traditional such like cups and tea powder containers, but there was an item it looked quite different from the traditional design. Which is this vivid yellow colored pot. I don't remember that my grandma was using that. As a matter of fact, it doesn't much have a trace of being used.
It is a very handy size. It could be popular as a pot for one to elevate one's tea time nowadays. Or, it could also be used as a flower pot. This is an item for those who are looking for an additional color into one's room.
