02.工藝タタター新聞 Newspaper of Kogei Tathatā

Earth, water, air and fire. This newspaper introduces people who have close relationships with the classical elements to produce their own crafts, a Korean papermaking methods, ceramics, woodwork and the scent of woods. It is all about understanding the materials that change faces everyday, and realizing the smallest things you might easily overlook otherwise. I always appreciate when I come across the moment where I was reminded me of living a life with care and this newspaper certainly gave me the opportunity.

土、水、空気、火。この新聞が紹介するのは、韓国の紙漉き、陶芸、木工と木の香りなど、四元素に寄り添ったクラフトを生み出すプロフェッショナルたち。共通するのは、日々表情を変える素材と向き合い、さもなければ簡単に見過ごしてしまうようなささいな当たり前に気づくこと。ていねいな暮らしを思い起こさせてくれる瞬間に出くわすとはっとさせられ、うれしくなるのだが、この新聞はまさにそんな機会を与えてくれる。
